You don't need anything prepared in advance. An open and inspired mind is enough. The design begins with our meeting and conversation.
The design process begins with a relaxed consultation, after which the piece typically takes from a few weeks to a few months to complete, depending on materials and details. Book your design appointment well in advance, preferably a few weeks or months ahead. Since everything is handcrafted from scratch by our own goldsmiths, the completion time also depends on the workshop's current workload.
Most of Annette's customers arrive at their appointment with an open mind, and that's exactly what she hopes for. Annette is happy to help clarify thoughts and suggest options based on her expertise and decades of experience.
A bespoke piece doesn't have to be expensive. What matters most is the meaning. Annette helps find a piece with the right style to suit the customer's budget.
The sentimental value of a piece can be immense, such as with a grandmother's old engagement ring. For this reason, we incorporate customers' gemstones and pearls whenever possible. Each case is evaluated individually.
Design consultations are complimentary. A deposit is required only when you commit to the commission.
