Dear children

A delightful pendant, a classic Memory Pearl, charming Golden Nuggets, or a bracelet to which new pendants can be added over the years. Children and children's jewelry are close to our hearts. Many pieces of jewelry are engraved with the child's name, and the pearls or gemstones symbolize beloved children or grandchildren – making the jewelry wonderfully personal and full of memories.

A N N E T T E

Jewelry has been part of my life since childhood. I began my goldsmithing studies at age 16 in 1981 under my father, Torbjörn Tillander. I served as head designer at Atelier Torbjörn Tillander until 2007, when I founded my own company and realized my dream of a studio where personal service is at the heart.

In 2020, we moved to our current space at Mikonkatu 2, where warm customer service meets a beautiful store. I designed the space and interior with my eldest daughter – it's a calm refuge away from the hustle and bustle.

All my jewelry is crafted in my own Helsinki goldsmith workshop by goldsmith artisans. My family's jewelry tradition dates back to 1860, when Alexander E. Tillander founded a goldsmith shop in St. Petersburg. Over 40 years of experience and generations of craftsmanship live on in every piece I design.

Photography, styling, and jewelry – this is how we create our beautiful world

For almost fifteen years, I have taken all the photos myself – product shots and mood shots. It is a passion for me and a way to tell the stories of the jewelry. My eldest daughter, Emmy, does the layout, and together we create the visual world for my jewelry.

The mood shots reflect peace, beauty, and timelessness – values that guide my work. Photography is part of my creative process, just as important as design.

My children and grandchildren are models in my photos, but I also have wonderful customers as models.

I have named several of my jewelry designs after my children and grandchildren – they are my inspiration and my heart. The artistry continues in my children, and I am very happy and proud of that. Every picture contains a piece of us.

FAMILY BUSINESS

Oy Annette Tillander Ab is a family business; Annette's children, representing the sixth generation of the family, work in the company, and the seventh generation is also involved in the everyday life of the family business.
